What a difference a day makes!

Further to yesterday’s blog post singing the praises of Sheerskin, I would like to add a word of caution to my readers.

 

Yes, yesterday I was delighted with the product, as my skin felt smooth, silky and hairless.  Today, however, I am disputing the “painless” tag.  I am, indeed, in quite a bit of pain. 

 

When I emerged from the shower this morning, my arms, legs and particularly my underarms were red raw with a hot swollen rash!  It feels a bit like sunburn.

 

Therefore, it looks like I’ll have to revert back to shaving after all.  I’m gutted!  I really did think I’d found a “wonder product”, but it was just too good to be true.

 

Next time, I’ll test the product for a few days before, jumping in to rave about it on my blog!

Why you should stop and talk to the clip board carriers

Hi everyone!

 

I usually give people with clipboards a HUGE body swerve!  I was born with in-built clipboard detectors to enable me to give the offending clipboard carrier a wide berth.  This is a major handicap to me, as a direct selling distributor, because I put myself in the shoes of my ‘prey’ when doing demonstrations at shopping centres, fayres, etc.  I have a tendency to start of my spiel apologising for ‘bothering’ them, instead of opening with a wide smile and a warm confident greeting.

 

Anyway, the point of my post today is that, while shopping in the Antonine Centre in Cumbernauld this afternoon, I not only failed to body swerve the clipboard carriers but, for some strange reason, I also found myself voluntarily drawn to the display stand. 

 

The product which was being demonstrated was Sheerskin – an easy and effective hair-removal system.  I was intrigued but sceptical.  The demonstrator invited me to take a seat and then asked me to pop my leg on her lap!  She then rolled up my trouser leg to inspect my “fuzzy” shin – an ideal specimen to demonstrate this amazing product!  She produced a small pad with, what looked like, sandpaper and started rubbing the offending shin in circular clockwise motions.  She then rubbed the same area in counter-clockwise motions.  I watched in amazement as the little course hairs on my leg disappeared in front of my eyes.  It was magic!  And the best bit is that it is totally pain-free!  Wow!

 

I asked “How much?” expecting such a fantastic product to cost a small fortune.  However, I was delighted to learn that it cost just £20 for a year’s supply.  A bargain!  Therefore, I came home with my Sheerskin pack, eager to painlessly de-fuzz ASAP.
