Hi everyone!

Whatever you age, you need to get to know your skin.  You need to know exactly what your skin requires.  This is the very essence of achieving healthy skin.

If you are in your teens and twenties, it is likely that your skin may need:

  • Age Prevention – now is the time to act to ensure you retain as much of your youthful glow as possible as you head towards your thirties.
  • Shine Control – If your skin is oily and you are still prone to spots, you must take control of the shine.
  • Vitality - Living life to the full can take its toll on your skin, and so you will need to re-energise your dull complexion.

If you are in your thirties or forties, it is likely that the first signs of ageing will become evident.  Women in this age group tend to live stressful, hectic lifestyles, and this can really take its toll on your skin.  Your skin may need:

  • Exfoliation – You need to get rid of all the dull, dead skin cells and reveal a more youthful glow.
  • Radiance - De-stressing your skin will help restore what your busy stressful life has taken out of it.
  • Hydration – Good hydration will help prevent wrinkles and retain your skin’s elasticity.
  • Soothing - Unsettled skin can age you prematurely.

In your fifties and beyond, you need to put back some of what life has taken out.  In this age group, your skin will likely need:

  • Replenishment – You need to preserve and replenish elasticity to your complexion.
  • Nourishment – By giving your skin the precious moisture and nourishment it requires, you can address those life lines of expression and take control of your skin’s ageing.
  • Firming - You need to preserve and replenish firmness and structure to your complexion.
  • Soothing – Soothe and calm your skin from the effects of hormonal change and imbalance.

If you want to have beautiful skin throughout your life, then it’s essential that you take good care of it.  By practising a regular 3-step cleanse, tone and moisturise routine, you can help reverse the signs of ageing and achieve  a clear, refined and glowing complexion.

In my next post I will teach you how to cleanse your skin, whatever your age and skin type.

Hi everyone!

Further to yesterday’s blog post singing the praises of Sheerskin, I would like to add a word of caution to my readers.

Yes, yesterday I was delighted with the product, as my skin felt smooth, silky and hairless.  Today, however, I am disputing the “painless” tag.  I am, indeed, in quite a bit of pain.

When I emerged from the shower this morning, my arms, legs and particularly my underarms were red raw with a hot swollen rash!  It feels a bit like sunburn.

Therefore, it looks like I’ll have to revert back to shaving after all.  I’m gutted!  I really did think I’d found a “wonder product”, but it was just too good to be true.

Next time, I’ll test the product for a few days before, jumping in to rave about it on my blog!

Thanks for reading!
